I’ve been following this drama for awhile now..can you tell I’m totally hooked?! Its been doing my head in trying to figure out who Na Jung’s husband is and to be honest after re-watching the series from beggining to current episode about a million times and taking notes in dialogue AND habits of the charachters, Im quite confident that I know who the husband is. Although I must admit I am a Chilbong/Na Jung shipper so I’ve obviously been digging up clues in his favour BUT I’ve also looked at all the candidates extensively. One thing for sure all I want is a happy ending for all of them..especially for my dear Chilbong 🙂 Here are a few clues as to who Kim Jae Joon is 1. Physically he’s tall and has a good body. How do we know this? It was said by the ahjumma’s attending their wedding. As you can see in the photos above Na Jung has to look up to look into the eyes of her groom. She stands around his shoulders making him a foot or two taller than her. Also we can tell that the groom has long lean legs and broad shoulders, in this episode we hear Yoo Jin saying he’s making wide strides down the aisle. As evident in the above photos Na Jung & Trash oppa see eye to eye. Trash is taller than Na Jung yes, but not as tall as the groom next to Na Jung. Na Jung’s forehead is around the same level as the grooms shoulders. Now lets take a look at Chilbong and Najung, he is taller than Trash and Na Jung looks up as she is talking to him. Her eye level is around his shoulders too. Now lets not forget about Haitai since he is still a contender. As you can see Haitai is pretty tall too..and I’m pretty sure hes taller than trash BUT is he taller than Chilbong? Na Jung comes at about nose to shoulder of Haitai. Out of all the guys CHILBONG is tallest. See Na Jungs forehead to his shoulders? 🙂 Unless the groom wore man heels then I’m wrong lol. 2. The groom’s mannerism. In the episode where they were about to enter the wedding hall and everybody was watching the soccer match instead, we see Na Jung scold her husband about picking the wrong date. He does this coughing noise and a little scratch to the side of this face. Now if you watch the episodes closesly there is only ONE charachter who does this ALOT. Chilbong does this mannerism a Heck of times. He does this when he is praised watch the scenes where coach nim praises him..he clears his throat and touches his face. Also he does this when he is guilty of something an example is when Sam Cheon Po and Yoo Jin come clean about dating and Haitai says that he thought Na Jung would be the first one to come out as a couple..he cleared his throat then and touched his face. Also in one of the 2013 scenes where player Kim Jae Hyeon appears on their wedding video and the boys are like wow hes so good looking blah blah blah. Na Jung replies ” Geez, I don’t think much of him my husband is more handsome..” Chilbong does the throat clearing too and looks too pleased with himself hehehe. 3. The grooms parents. Yes people the grooms parents. IT IS OBVIOUSLY NOT Trash’s parents. Mama & Papa Sung come over to get the ginseng liquor, Na Jung quickly tries to make dad come with her to talk to the neighbours about the noise so she makes faces at the gang so they can quickly fill up the ginseng again with soju while she distracts Papa Sung. Naturally the one that responds to her would be her hubby because they are partners in everything. Out of all the guys only Chilbong responds to Na Jung as if to say “quickly get him out and I’ll do the rest”. 5. When married couples have been together for a long time, they start to mimic each other. They start to pick up habits from each other. Here’s an example of this There’s alot more telltale signs on who the hubby really is but for me it’s definitely Chilbong. In episode 16 Mama Sung asks for coffee and he says yes mother..C’mon only the hubby would respond right away! Why? because thats his mother in law of course and he’s the only one who knows how to work the coffee machine!! I also love the scene in episode 17 where Papa Sung meets Reply1997 Dad and they talk about their respective son in laws. Papa Sung seems proud of the fact that his son in law is FAMOUS. Let’s be real there is no way Trash oppa could be famous UNLESS he won a world recognized award or a top neurosurgeon or something but Chilbong is a well known baseball player. He was well known in his early days and as he ascends to represent Korea he’s a face that can’t be forgotten. Even Shi Won is flabbergasted when she sees him lol. For me personally, if Chilbong isn’t the husband OMG somebody stop me from flipping the damn dinner table. I’m serious. I will probably have to mend my broken heart and lay off the Kdrama for awhile. hehehe anyway team Chilbong “It ain’t over till it’s over!!!” Let me know who YOU THINK is the hubby !!
